Q+A
You’ve got questions. To answer them efficiently, and skip the part where you have to ferret through long blocks of text, we’ve attempted to address the most common below.
What do you do?
We help you get your brain on and focus. We educate you so you can make smart decisions. We guide political principals, non-profit organizations, and businesses in establishing their online presence. We help you create vital relationships with those you choose to serve. We help you maximize your time and investment.
What do you mean by “strategy?”
Basically…the plan to ensure you get “there.” “There” usually means achieving certain goals; we often refer to three specifically: 1] the plan we create as a team to work together, 2] the plan we create to measure our success in reaching the site’s goals, and 3] the plan we create to give visitors the experience you want them to have while visiting your website.
Anyone can build a site. Few, however, start with a strong strategy. We work alongside you as we create the best of all possible “plans.”
Why do you highlight “process?”
There is an old saying, “you end up where you start.” This adage has been our experience. Our clients’ questions and directives in the beginning of the process chart the path to our shared destination. So after making the journey from conception to completion numerous times over the years, we’ve learned the best questions to ask upfront, the goals to clarify, and the steps to take to make sure where we end up is, in fact, our destination.
Are you bipartisan on gov projects?
That’s right. Kinda. In the current political environment with quickly changing “values” we take people for who they are, not what they carry as a name or political party. That said, we’ve created a lot of Democratic Senate sites, non-partisan projects, and joint committee efforts. It is a very strange time in all things politics which is one reason we’re investing more and more of our time outside the Congress.
What does a site cost?
Great question, but we can’t answer it here. Not because we don’t want to, though. This question is like asking, “How much is transportation to get there?” What kind of transportation – a car, a mobile home, a bike? Where do you want it to take you? How many people are going? And is it a short trip or a grand exploration?
We’ve been lucky to work on projects that lead to long-term relationships with our clients. On the other hand, we’ve created and launched some powerful products in under a couple of months. We’ve plugged in some small components to a site for $500, and we’ve also facilitated creations that had budgets nearing six digits. So, after a short discussion, we can show you how your project and budget will align. When you ask for a quote, there is no pressure or up selling.
Just provide us a clear perspective on your goals, expectations, and resources, and…zap…you’ll get a situation you can live with, and one we’ll commit to.
