J GREGORY BARTON

I started carrying a camera at five years-old. It was a gift from — I’m not making this up — a Door-to-door vacuum cleaner salesman. For some loopy reason, which still defies logic since my father was so tight with money, he actually put  film in it. Handed it to me. and then forgot about his effort.

I’m glad you landed here. My hope is that you find any intel and minutia you wanted — and, hopefully, a few marginalia tidbits that make you smile.

This site bridges the various platforms, connections, and skill sets that will give you a glimpse as to what I’ve been up to, and what I’m creating lately.

*The image of a camera posted in the background is not a representation of the camera I used when taking photos across the above mentioned grocery story. It is one of the most used camera in the USA until the smaller, cheaper (plastic) camera the ____ became vogue in the late sixties and exploded in use in the late 70’s.
